Questions
How the marketplace, the certificates and the escrow work.
What is Pepdev?
An open marketplace for research peptides. Suppliers list their lots, every lot carries a certificate from an independent lab, and prices are public per kit of 10 vials and per milligram so you can compare suppliers side by side.
How do I know a lot matches its label?
Each listing links to the certificate for its lot: identity and purity by HPLC and mass against the label, from labs such as Janoshik, Chromate and TrustPointe. Enter the lot number printed on the vial on the verify page to see it. A listing goes dark when its certificate is older than 90 days.
How do I pay?
Through Peer Pay, with Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Wise, Monzo, Apple Pay or crypto. Peer Pay converts the payment to USDC on Base and settles it; Pepdev never holds your card or bank details.
How does escrow protect the order?
35% of the price goes to the supplier at settlement and 25% to Pepdev. The remaining 40% is held until 30 days after the supplier ships. Open a ticket in that window and the release pauses until it is resolved.
Who ships, and how fast?
The supplier ships directly to you and enters tracking, which you receive by email. Each supplier shows its warehouse region and typical time to ship, from one to eight days.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Open a ticket from your order email before the escrow releases. Non-delivery, a wrong or short item, or a lot that fails an independent test are covered from the held share; the supplier agreement covers the rest.
What is a group test?
Buyers pool a few dollars each to send a sealed vial from a lot to an independent lab. The result is published on the lot certificate for everyone, pass or fail, and a failing lot is pulled from sale.
Who can buy?
Products are sold for laboratory research use only. Pepdev lists sequence, salt form and lot data and makes no claims beyond them.
A supplier's certificate is their word. A group test is yours.
Buyers of a lot pool a few dollars each, a sealed vial goes to an independent lab, and the result is published on the lot's certificate for everyone. Pass or fail.
- 01Pool
Anyone who bought the lot opens a pool. Backers join from a few dollars, paid like any order.
- 02Test
A backer is drawn at random and ships one unopened vial. The lab is paid from the pool when it signs for the sample.
- 03Publish
The report attaches to the certificate. A failing lot is pulled from sale and open orders on it are frozen.
